Executive Board

The Executive Board is collectively responsible for sport across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. It works in partnership with key agencies and other regional partners to provide inspiration, vision and leadership for the development of sport, physical education and active recreation across Staffordshire.

Board members champion the benefits of sport and represent Staffordshire's interests at regional and national levels.

The Board's key aims are to work with Partners to increase participation in sport, physical education and active recreation and build clear pathways for people with sporting talent to enable them to reach their potential.  To find out more about the member profile of the board and meeting minutes please click on the links below:

Executive Board Champions

The partnership has appointed Executive Board Members to champion key CSP work areas and presents an opportunity to raise the profile of important issues with partners and to advocate best practice to organisations involved with the delivery of sport and physical activity.

There are numerous identified benefits to appointing Board Champions including; raising the profile of important issues with partners, raising the profile of the CSP and Executive Board Members, providing a leading advocate to influence the work of organisations and individuals involved with the delivery of sports, championing best practice in a particular area and utilising the skills and experience of Board Members to support staff.
