Sports Club Accreditation Funding

Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (SASSOT) recognise that a modern network of sports clubs will be the centrepiece of people's sporting experience.

SASSOT want to develop welcoming, accessible and accredited sports clubs in partnership with National Governing Bodies of Sport and we want to ensure there is an extensive network of vibrant community sports clubs offering high quality sporting opportunities for young people.

One of the key objectives of the SASSOT Club Support Plan is to increase the number of Clubmark/NGB accredited sports clubs throughout the county.

SASSOT have introduced this funding scheme to increase the number of sports clubs being accredited or re-accredited with Clubmark, NGB Accreditation or the SASSOT QualityMark it can also be used for clubs to achieve a higher level of their current accreditation if appropriate.

Up to £600 of funding is available to sports clubs who require financial assistance to achieve and pass their accreditation criteria and which now includes coaching qualifications.

All sports clubs benefiting from the funding must be based within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to qualify.
