Staffordshire Moorlands Community Activity Network is here for the whole of Staffordshire Moorlands community. To reflect this they welcome comments and feedback from all people living within Staffordshire Moorlands the sporting, physically active and non sporting or physically inactive ones.

The delivery plans, programmes and projects to raise, build and sustain participation in sport and physical activity that are being supported by the Community Activity Network will be put forward for open consultation by the community before they are finally agreed.

Staffordshire Moorlands Sports Councils

Staffordshire Moorlands Community Activity Network has strong links with the three sports councils within Staffordshire Moorlands. One member of the sports councils will be attending each of the Community Activity Network meetings. This Network will be asking clubs what additional support they need to continue their development and increase their membership in the future. 

As a member of a sports club you can raise any issues to be taken to the Community Activity Network steering group either through the above contacts, your National Governing Body, Tony Wheat Sports Development Officer Staffordshire Moorlands District council or your local Sports Council.  

The aim is to build strong sporting pathways within Staffordshire Moorlands from grass route initiatives through to clubs. This network wants to support the clubs to build on their local and national successes.
