Clubs

Disability Sport medium

There are a variety of clubs  around the County that are either specifically run for disabled people or mainstream clubs with an inclusive section.

We have created a database and a Disbility Sport Directory to assist you in finding clubs within your area, clubs that cater for your disability or clubs relating to a specific sport or activity. Both of these can be accessed at the bottom of this page.

SASSOT normally only promotes Clubmark accredited clubs, however in a drive to promote disability sport we are informing you about all of the opportunities we are aware of.

As we are unable to quality assure all the opportunities listed on the Disability Sport Directory it is essential that you perform your own checks to satify yourself that your chosen club or activity is safe, suitable and is going to provide an enjoyable experience.

Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent only endorse Clubmark accredited clubs, howevfer this is still only a guide that the club has all of the appropriate policies in place. Any club visited on this directory will be done at your own risk.

You should ALWAYS checkout a club, even if they have Clubmark.

Below is a list of things to look out for. If you are unsure then ask.

Things to Check
