Welcome to the 10th Edition of Disabilit-e News.
Is this really issue 10 already?
Time has flown by and although I have seen great things happening within Staffordshire there is still so much more to do. Please remember that this newsletter is here for you. If you wish to advertise an event, promote your club or just shout about the good work you have been doing around disability sport, then this is the place to do it. Pelase let me know of your success stories, your events or even your problems. This newsletter is now directly viewed by nearly 200 people with a further 1600 receiving it via the main SASSOT newsetter.
This weekend is the launch of Channel 4's build up and coverage of the Paralympics. On saturday That Paralympic Show starts which will introduce viewers to Paralympic sport by using ex olympic stars and celebrities. Then Sunday evening is Inside Incredible Athletes. This looks at some of the athletes that are looking to compete in London and highlights the hardwork and effort they put into their preperation.
They have also created a new website which looks at all the paralympic sports. Check it out at paralympics.channel4.com
