Welcome to the 11th edition of Disabilit-e News. This edition is huge for several reasons. We have hit 200 subscribers. This is fantastic but we still need more. There are a large number of articles to provide you with all of the information around Disability Sport.

 

Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent are launching their disability training courses which have been funded through Aiming High so are free. These courses have been designed to support coaches and staff with the delivery of disability sessions and enable more sessions and a better understanding of disability.

 

Also this weekend saw the first of the G8way Family Fun Days. This event took place at The Albrighton Trust Moat & Gardens. It was a fantastic event with families being able to try out:

• Fishing
• Football
• Golf
• Inflatable Games
• Horticulture
• Crafts

The day was excellent and although the wether was mixed it ended in glourioous sunshine which reflected the thoughts of those attending. These days have been organised by the G8way team in response to the feedback from parents about the lack of activities and events for families. Please support these events as they provide some excellent opportunties. More of these events will be happening around the Coutny over the coming months with the next one being this Sat 11th Sept at Horton Lodge 1pm-4pm.
