A chance to set up your own Boccia Team The Boccia League is now completing it's 5th season and we are already looking forward to next season. Next season will be the first year the league will operate under 'Boccia England' (formerly organised from within CP Sport). The league has grown year on year, the first season saw 35 teams enter; this year over 140 teams entered. We hope this trend will continue as we move forward as Boccia England.
The aim of the National Pan Disability Boccia League is to widen the opportunity for some competitive boccia for those who perhaps are not eligible to take part in our usual Regional and National events. We know how popular the game is becoming amongst so many sectors of the community and indeed across the whole age range. The league offers a chance for disabled people to compete together at a local level and then have the opportunity to progress to a National Final.
There are some more guidelines attached and if you are interested in joining the boccia league next season then please return the 'expression of interest form' enclosed to Boccia England by the 30th September. Please also pass details onto anyone else you think may be interested.
As part of our transition to 'Boccia England' we are reviewing our pricing structure so we're unable to confirm the entry fee for this year as yet. We will also be looking at introducing Boccia England membership that will hopefully provide you and your team with a number of benefits. We will let you know more details as soon as we have them.
We will collect all of the expressions of interest and then try to group teams into 'local leagues' and notify you of your league in September/October time. This is when we will ask for your entry form and fee.
