Parenting week is taking place from Monday 18th – Sunday 24th October
There are lots of activities planned for Parenting Week. They are open to all and most activities are free

The Golf Academy opens with a Disability Focus The Golf Academy has been set up by a group of PGA Professionals including Craig Thomas.
Craig is keen to develop golfing opportunities for disabled people within the County and has already made several appearences at Aiming High events.
This Open Weekend is part of a launch of the new Golf Academy which will work with both Disabled and Non-Disabled golfer.
Graig said "Golf can be open to so many different people I have seen blind golfers, paraplegic golfers who play from their wheelchair or specialised buggy that supports them to stand. I have also worked with children with Autism and have found them to be very receptive to golf and parents have commented on how much golf has helped their child."
Stafford Borough Awards 2010 Sport Stafford Borough Awards Evening is an annual event that recognises local achievements in sport buring the year.
The awards recognise individual, club and volunteer successes in 2010 and acknowledge achievements in a variety of sports in the Borough.
This year there are several categories with the notable one being Sports person of the Year with Disabilities. This is for an outstanding disabled performer of any age in any sport.
The closing date for nominations is Monday 13th December. Individuals must reside or be a member of a club in the Stafford Borough area.
