'Reach For It' Family Fun Day

This Family Fun Day has been funded by Aiming High and has been organised by Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent.

The Fun Day provides a day for disabled children under 18 years old who live within Staffordshire.

The day has been created for the whole family. It is a chance for you all to try out some different sports in a fun, inclusive environment.

As such it is expected that you will stay with your children and join in if possible. As the event has been created for families, it means that siblings are also welcome. All of the activities are a gentle introduction to the sport so you can join in at your own pace. If you need a break or rest you can stop whenever you like.

The event will last all day and time has been made for lunch, however no food or drink will be provided so please provide your own. Please wear suitable clothing such as trainers, tracksuit and t-shirt.

This event is free and as such we expect there to be a high demand for places. If you are given a space and are unable to attend for whatever reason, please inform us ASAP so we can allocate your space to another family.

Timetable

Registration:        9.30am – 9.50am

Activity 1:            10.00am – 11.00am

Activity 2:            11.00am – 12.00am

Lunch:                  12.00pm – 1.00pm

Activity 3:             1.00pm – 2.00pm

Activity 4:             2.00pm – 3.00pm

Please note that if you select swimming it will class as both Activity 3 & 4.

To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize you need to do the following:

• Complete the Passport To Fun

Passport to Fun

When you arrive at the Family Fun Day you will be given a booklet, which is your Passport to Fun.

This booklet is your chance to collect information about the sports you try, rate them and find out where you could continue to do them.

Once you have completed each activity, or gathered information about an activity ,the coach from that session or area will stamp the back of your Passport.

Once you have collected a minimum of 3 stamps you need to complete your personal information on the back, tear off the back page and put it in the competition box on the day.

Once the final 'Reach for it' Family Fun Day has taken place the draw will be made and the winner will be notified.
