Table Tennis Disability Awareness Day 

Wood Green Table Tennis Club in conjunction with the English Table Tennis Association are hosting a Disability Awareness Training Day.  This is an initiative to try and encourage more disabled people to play table tennis. 

 

The Training Day is aimed at all coaches, members, helpers or anyone involved in any way with table tennis at any clubs.

 

The training day will be held at Wood Green High School, Wood Green Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands, WS10 9QU on Saturday 5^th February commencing at 10am and finishing at 4.00pm. 

 

The day consists of workshops and practical sessions, with some fun elements, all aimed at building each person’s confidence to work and play with disabled people. The tutors for the day will be Judy Rogers and Shaun Newcomb who is one of our top wheelchair players and ranked in the World Rankings in his class – can you beat him?

 

The cost to you to attend the day is £10 which will include a manual on working with disabled people, food will also be provided on the day. Please make cheques payable to WMMTC.
