Rhinos Crowned Champions The 14th-15th of May saw the conclusion of the British Wheelchair Basketball National League with the Championship Play Offs taking place in Sheffield.
RGK TCAT Rhinos were there to play for the Super League Cup and the National League Division One Champions Title.
Both these teams had already won their divisions by going undefeated all season so went to the Finals full of confidence.
The Super League Team showed why they were undefeated and won both their matches to be crowned the Super League Champions and Super League Cup Champions. This also shows that they are the best team in the country and right on our doorstep.
The National League Division One team were encouraged by these performances and followed the same path with two victories making them National League Division One Champions. The final was against Sheffield Steelers and could have quite easily fitted into a Super League fixture.
The RGK TCAT Rhinos do not just promote the top of the sport. They are currently leading the way with their community programmes which take place all over the West Midlands including Staffordshire.
