The course is designed for anyobody under the age of 18 and is suitable for both mannual and power chair users.
During the 3 days you will develop your wheelchair skills in a fun safe environment. The coaches are fully trained and can develop both people with basic skills through to more advanced techniques.
The course is free to attend and is taking place:
Sir Graham Balfour School
8th, 9th, 10th August
If you are interested in attend please contact Jenny Moore on: 01785 619565
The Olympic Games organising committee is looking for 8,000 inspirational people from across the UK, aged 12 years and over to be Torchbearers at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
The sessions are open to children or young adults with any form of disability (although Downs syndrome sufferers would need a GP's letter to confirm they are Ok to bounce).
I coach on a one to one basis so places are limited, I do it as a volunteer and the only costs involved to the bouncers are venue/equpiment hire and when we are up and running properly their BG membership. At the moment it costs £25 per 7 week session (we only bounce during term time).
We are happy for bouncers to come along at a pre determined time and have a taster and if they like it book their place then.
