The Adam Millichip Foundation
The Adam Millichip Foundation was founded in November 2010 and has one goal. To provide financial support and assistance to disabled people who wish to participate in sports, with the aim of improving the quality of their lives.
With the tragic death of his Brother Adam in 2007, Stuart Millichip wanted to do something in his memory. In May 2010 he and 3 other committee members founded the Adam Millichip Memorial Golf Challenge, which in it's first year raised over 7000 pounds, which was donated to 2 local charities.
After the huge success of this project, the quiet whisper of more became a reality. Shortly after the golf day, Stuart approached the rest of the committee with the idea of a fully registered charity in memory of his brother. The Adam Millichip Foundation had been born
The Richard Overall Trust has helped and will continue to help young disabled persons with financial support to enjoy and progress in their chosen sport.
The Trust supports requests from Individuals. Groups, Family and Carers who are British Citizens without regard to Creed, Culture or Race.
The Trust's aim is to assist youngsters with funding to facilitate their participation, attendance or the purchase of equipment for sporting events and activities.
Examples of funding for which you may make an application:
Equipment:
Such as Specialist Sports Equipment.
Training:
Instructors and the Use of Gymnasiums.
Clothes:
Track Suits or Footwear.
Transport:
To Include Fares or the Hire of a Specialist Vehicle.
Attendance:
The purchase of Tickets to Sporting Events.
To apply download an application form and return with supporting evidence from a suitable professional such as Occupational Therapist, Pysiotherapist, GP or teacher. Applications may be made by UK individuals, groups, families and carers. www.richardoveralltrust.co.uk
