Paracanoe talent identification days Paracanoe are holding talent identification days to find future Paralympic stars. The Paracanoe Paralympic disciplines are currently restricted to those with a a physical imapirment.
The Paracanoe talent identification days involve a range of tests relating to the Paracanoe Olympic event of 200m. The testing will take approximately one hour inclusive of briefing and warm up.
On 12 October 2011 between 08:00 - 16:30 at the Phoenix Centre, Tidworth, Wiltshire, SP9 7AJ and on 29 October 2011 between 08:00 - 16:30 at Holme Pierpoint NWSC, Nottingham, NG2 5AS.

126 out of the 300 ticketed sessions are oversubscribed in at least one price category across the following sports - Archery, Athletics, Boccia, Track Cycling, Equestrian Dressage, Football, Goalball, Judo, Rowing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Tennis and the Olympic Park Day Pass. Where price categories are oversubscribed, tickets will be allocated by ballots. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies are also oversubscribed in some price categories.
New opportunities to enable more disabled people to play sport � funding for posts With the 2012 London Paralympics only a year away, there has never been a better time to champion sport for disabled people- and work within an exciting sector.
English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) works in partnership with the National Disability Sport Organisations (NDSOs) which help to get people with specific impairments active in sport. This partnership allows us to signpost disabled people and extended networks to a range of sporting opportunities and information.
