Do you want to play in the National Pan Disability Boccia League?
The Boccia League is now completing it's 5th season and we are looking for new teams for next season. There are currently over 140 teams entered.
The aim of the National Pan Disability Boccia league is to widen opportunity for some competitive boccia for those who are prehaps not eligable to take part in the usual Regional and National events. We know how popular the game is becomming amongst so many sectors of the community and indeed across the whole age range. The league offers a chance for disabled people to progress to a National Final.
There are more guidelines attached and if you are interested in joining the boccia league next season then please return the expression of interest form attached below to Boccia England by:
10th September 2010
Once Boccia England have recieved all of the expression of interest forms they will try and group teams into 'local leagues'.
This is a great opportuntiy to help develop Boccia within Staffordshire and would be great if we could get several teams set up within the county.
Pan Disability is for disability groups, sports & recreation clubs, schools, special interest community groups (eg: church/age concern/day service).
A Team must have a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 10.
