Welcome

The summer holidays are finally here!!! For some this means a chance to relax and unwind, for others it is one of the busiest times of the year.

 

There are a large number of activities around the county for children and families to attend and this year there are more opportunities than ever before for people with a disability. This has all been made possible due to the funding from Aiming High. They have produced a summer activities booklet and this is available from carolyn.knight@staffordshire.gov.uk

 

I have also been busy supporting some new multisport opportunties and the development of Disability Sport Forums.

 

I am also currently receivng information back from clubs within the County around there disability sport provision. This information will help me to focus on areas to develop and support clubs in getting the skills to accommodate more disabilities within their clubs.

 

The subscription list is constantly increasing but it could always do with more members. Please pass details of this newsletter on so we can continue to spread information of all of the good work around the County.
