Cannock Sportability

History of Group

The Chase Sportability Group aims to increase opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in and reach their full potential in a range of sports and activities, we will do this by:

� Accessing funding opportunities

� Co-ordinating the delivery of 'Disability Awareness' training

� Promoting Disability sport both locally and regionally

� Providing networking opportunities

To help achieve this, the group, in conjunction with Cannock Chase District Council have put together a service plan which links directly into the councils Corporate Performance Plan.
