Archery
Some of the disabilities that participate in this sport are:
Amputees
Hearing Impairment
Spinal Cord Injury
Spina bifida
Full use of their upper limbs
A disability affecting all four limbs
Limited mobility in their lower limbs
Visual Impairment
Archery is a sport that involves trying to hit a target at a set distance with a bow and arrow. It is a test of concentration, accuracy and strength. Both Male and females of all ages can take part.
Archery is open to a variety of disabilities some of which compete at Paralympic level.
Disabled Archery can be done standing or sitting in a wheelchair.
