Staffordshire Athletics Performance Squad Meet Kelly Holmes

The Staffordshire athlete Performance squad’s training session was full of excitement as they were doing their training alongside Kelly Holmes at the Regional Athletics Centre, Birmingham. Kelly was there training her ‘On Camp with Kelly’ athletes as Derek Yeomans, Head Coach for the Staffs squad, put the athletes through their paces.

Kelly was able to meet the CAPS athletes after her session had finished and have photos taken. She was delightful and extremely friendly towards the squad, throwing herself into the group and making everyone feel easy about her being there. She only had a short time available but was more than willing to be photographed with whoever asked her. I’m sure that if her schedule were not so tight she would have spent more time with the squad, answering questions.
