Staffordshire Moorlands District Council

Female only boxing tutor course - 25 June 08

The Amateur Boxing Association of England's one day Boxing tutors' course aims to qualify participants to deliver and organise the ABA boxing awards in schools, colleges, universities, youth centres and sports centres. This targeted course aims to provide a female only environment to encourage and increase the number of female boxing tutors.

If you are a female, over 16 years of age and interested in delivering fun, recreational boxing in a variety of settings including schools, colleges, universities, youth centres and sports centres this course is for you. You do not need to be an expert or experienced in boxing.

The Amateur Boxing Association of England aim to increase the number of female boxers. To do this we need to encourage more females to be tutors and coaches. However, the ABA is aware that women may be concerned about doing a tutor / coaching course in a male dominated environment, therefore this course is just for female delegates.

The course is planned for Wednesday 25th June 2008, 8.30am – 4.00pm at Southgate Youth and Community Centre, Derby. Click here for the joining letter and booking form.

If you would like to do this course or require further information please contact:
