Rounders International hosted in Stafford

 

 

Stafford will be the host for a Rounders International this summer as England take on Wales at Riverway.

 

Stafford Cricket and Hockey Club have reached an agreement with Rounders England to hold three events at their Riverway ground in June & July this year.

 

All the events will be held on Sundays, with the highlight being an International against Wales on July 25^th.

 

June 6^th – Ladies National Clubs

July 11^th – Star Centre Challenge

July 25^th – England versus Wales

 

All the events will feature various age groups and there will be 4 matches going on at any one time

 

The organisers are hoping for plenty of local support for all the events, and are hoping it will boost participation in the sport within Staffordshire.

 

Riverway is earmarked as a potential Star Centre in the future.
