Danielle Wyatt Selected For T20 World Cup
Staffordshire all rounder Danielle Wyatt (pictured below) has taken significant steps on her way to a great cricket future by an England call for T20 World Cup in the West Indies.
Wyatt who secured victory for England on her debut in the final one day international in India with 28 not out, managed a starting place on that tour in all three games played in the shorter format.
England won the nailbiting series 2-1.
Following on for the 18 year old from Newcastle, will be an MCC Young Cricketers contract starting in late March and hopefully selection for the T20 World Cup in the West Indies during April.
The games take place in early May with the semi finals and finals being back to back televised games with the men's tournament.
Staffordshire Cricket
The deadline for all nominations for the Staffordshire Cricket OSCAs (Outstanding Services To Cricket Awards) is coming up in 10 days.
All nominations must be received by midnight Sunday 9th May.

There are good people involved in cricket at all levels in this county, please remember to nominate them.
The Staffordshire Cricket OSCAs will be presented at Knypersley on Sunday 6th June 2010 and all invitees given a complementary lunch.
All County winners will then be invited to a lunch at Lords in October.
