North Stoke Partnership High 5 Netball 2011
Our 4th annual Partnership Competition was a great success thanks again to the invaluable support from our Young Netball Organisers from across the North Stoke secondary schools.
Following the cluster competitions, 12 schools qualified for the North Stoke Partnership Competition. The competition ran in two sections, with semi-finals and a final to decide the top six schools to go through to the City competition. The competition was excellent with all twelve teams displaying some great play and team work which provided a lot of exciting matches for spectators. Many players demonstrated a high level of skill for their age group and all teams displayed good sportsmanship.

Greenways and Packmoor topped section A whilst the Willows and Carmountside tied for the top of section A. The semi-finals were closely fought and in the final Packmoor won through in a exciting match by 1 goal, winning 2-1 against the Willows. All four teams qualified for the City Competition, including St Joseph’s and St Mary’s who finished in 3rd place for each of their sections.
Young leaders have continued to be trained up taking their Young Netball Organisers Award and have also supported work in our cluster schools. It was thanks to the hard work of all the leaders involved that the tournament ran so smoothly.
