Staffordshire Moorlands District Council

Chase It Plus (13 - 19 years)

Chase It Plus is a Cannock Chase Council run programme that looks to engage hard to reach young people through a range of physical and creative activities.

Working in partnership with the Beth Johnson Housing Association, young people from the Bevan Lee Estate were supported in putting forward a funding application to the Youth Opportunity Fund.

The bid was successful and funding received has been used to support a range of physical and creative activities, through the Summer holidays.  Chase It Logo

The Bevan Lee Estate sits within one of Cannock Chase Councils most deprived wards and has been subjected to a significant amount of anti-social behaviour.

Partnership involvement with the project i.e: Police, Council, Youth Service and Street Wardens has enabled us to raise young peoples perceptions and awareness of the work we do in the community.
