Although, as reported in the July edition, this is the last newsletter to be funded by the Sports Councils, The Equality Standard for Sport are delighted to announce that funding has been offered by some organisations that have stated this is a vital and valued communication resource and publication will now continue until at least December 2011.
Aston Cricket Club in Stone in Staffordshire was only formed in September 2009 but is already working hard to expand the boundaries within local cricket and to try and bring a fresh approach to the traditional thinking within club cricket.
‘re:stoke’ is a collective of three artists; dance artist Clare Reynolds, visual artist Sarah Nadin and musician Paul Rogerson. Each artist uses their specialism in this unique collaboration to produce high quality participatory work in Stoke-on-Trent.
Based in North Staffordshire, re:stoke's aims are to;
create artwork and performance in the public realm
integrate the arts into regeneration by working alongside local authorities
empower communities though engaging in high quality arts activities
