Don't Miss Out, Get Out!
Children can still enjoy a wide range of fun activities this Summer Holiday (until Friday 2 September) with Stafford Borough Council’s Get Out! programme.
There are still courses in tennis and football delivered by top quality coaches from the Sports Development team as well as the popular mobile skatepark at Weston, Christ Church Middle School and Little Haywood (skates, boards and BMX are all allowed on the park).
Kids can enjoy a fun packed day with multi-activity Active-8 available at Alleyne’s Sports Centre, as well as trampoline coaching, dancing and fun pool activities, including the amazing Water Walkers.
Stafford Leisure Centre has a range of activities available to keep the boredom at bay with gymnastics and trampoline sessions, multi-activity days, the H-Zone interactive gym and dance-mats and lots of pool activities including the Sea Scooters.
Free swimming for children 16 years and under is also available from Monday to Friday at Stafford Leisure Centre (11am – 12noon and 3pm – 3.30pm) and from Tuesday to Friday at Alleyne’s Sports Centre in Stone (10am – 11am and 11am – 12noon).
The amazing new play facility at Victoria Park is well worth a visit, with the 7m high space net, wheeled skate bowl, 5m high slide, sand and water play area, swings and trampoline.
Disabled children and their families can have a great end to the summer break with the Reach For It Family Fun Day on Saturday 3 September at Rowley Park.
