Nathan Hilton, the Partnership Club Development Coach, has now had the opportunity to visit every swimming club in the partnership and has presented his development plans.   The partnership can now look forward to further swimmer development opportunities for the talented youngsters we have in our clubs.

 

More clubs are achieving Swim 21, the asa accreditation, which will give them access to increased funding opportunities for the development of their teaching/coaching personnel.

 

More work is being undertaken to encourage young people to volunteer within the sport of swimming with the introduction of the Young Aquatic Organiser Award.  This ten hour certificated course for young people aged 14 to 19yrs was first delivered in Lichfield and included a Timekeeping course for the young people.  These young qualified Timekeepers now enjoy using their skills for the benefit of their fellow club members.
