CCPR Sports Club of the Year Awards 2010 |
The Central Council of Physical Recreation (CCPR) is delighted to announce the launch of the Sports Club of the Year awards 2010.
Only 2 months to go before the deadline closes on the Sports Club of the Year awards and the CCPR are looking forward to receiving entries from your sport.
CCPR's Sports Club of the Year awards in association with the Foundation for Sport and the Arts (FSA) and runningsports, recognise sports clubs, which have made an outstanding contribution within their community.
In addition, following last year's successful award, runningsports have again agreed to sponsor a University Sports Club of the Year award.
There is £16,000 of prize money up for grabs so be sure to nominate your 3 best clubs! 3 x third place prizes of £1000, 2 x second place prizes of £3000 and 1 x first place prize of £6000; plus £1,000 for the winner of the College/University Club of the Year, so what are you waiting for?
This year CCPR hopes to encourage as wide a range of applications as possible from the whole spectrum of CCPR members. The application form is available here.
NGBs are entitled to nominate a further two entries for the University award, in addition to the three nominations for the Sports Club of the Year award. The application form for this award can be found here.
The deadline for this year's applications is 19th February 2010.
