FA Provide Female Coach Workshops

Female Coach Workshops
As part of Staffordshire FA’s commitment to support the development of Female coaches, we have organised two female specific workshops.

The first workshop is open to all FA Level 1 coaches who are looking to progress onto the FA Level 2. The workshop is entitled ‘Level 2 Introduction Workshop’ and it will provide information with regards the Level 2 course, and the differences between the Level 1. The details of the workshop are:

Date: Monday 19th February 2007

Venue: Alleynes Sports Centre, Stone

Time: 6.45pm – 9.45pm

The second workshop is open to all female coaches who are working within Charter Standard Clubs. The workshop will introduce the principles of LTPD and provide information on how to introduce new ideas to coaching sessions. Details of the workshop are:

Date: Monday 12th March 2007

Venue: Alleynes Sports Centre, Stone

Time: 6.45pm – 9.30pm

Staffordshire Schools County Championships
The date for the finals day this year will be Saturday 16th June 2007, venue tbc.

Hopefully all Districts will be organising their local tournaments to put forward their winners to enter the finals day.  If any Districts require any support with their events, please let me know.

Girls High School Football Leagues
The East Staffordshire Girls High School League and Newcastle Girls High School League are now well into the fixtures, and are both running well. Both Leagues provide competitive opportunities in Years 7&8 and Years 9&10 within the Districts.

We will be looking to introduce additional leagues throughout the County over the next few months. For further information, please contact me.

Coach Development Brochure
Staffordshire FA’s Coach Development Brochure for the 2006/2007 season is now available.
