Level 1 VRQ Coaching Assistant Award
The Level 1 Award is intended to provide the essential skills and knowledge necessary to run a safe and enjoyable session for players to be introduced to hockey. Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old to attend the course but should understand that they will not be permitted to coach independently. Level 1 coaches aged 18 and over can obtain insurance and practice in the role of Coaching Assistant alongside a fully qualified adult holding a Level 2 coach award or above.

CCPR's National Conference 2010
CCPR is delighted to announce the date of its 2010 national conference - taking place at the brand new five star Grange St Paul's Hotel on 5th May 2010.
As usual, the conference will be preceded by our annual Sports Club of the Year Awards on 4th May 2010 where the guest of honour will be the CCPR President, HRH The Earl of Wessex.
This year's conference theme is Fair Play in Sport covering some of the really big issues which face the sector, like funding, cheating, doping, betting, bidding for international events, and will have a good line-up of speakers.
