North Staffs Junior Table Tennis League

 

This league has just completed its first season under the new name and has seen over 25 players attend on average each session; it’s run and organised by Penkhull Table Tennis Club.

  

In Division 1 - Penkhull A topped the division after the four sessions, despite not been able to field a team
in the last session holding off a late charge from Clayton A.
 
Clayton C finished third piping their own B team in the process. Norton's Adam Stanway topped the averages, remaining unbeaten throughout the sessions with Penkhull's Matt Willougbhuy 2nd on the averages.
 
In Division 2 - a four way was in progress as we approached the last session, Penkhull B soon dropped off and Bradwell, Clayton E and Clayton D finished level on points, with Clayton D piping Bradwell with a better sets difference.
 
Andrew Willoughby topped the averages with Clayton Luke Boon in 2nd spot.
 
This was the league's first year and will look to expand next year. A huge thanks to all teams for a terrific year.
