Kinsey gets hooked with Chancel Primary
School pupil Kinsey Rogers hooks a fabulous common carp during her latest fishing session with Staffordshire Youth Anglers at Carney Pools. Ten pupils from Chancel Primary have been taking part in an 8-week introduction to angling programme and have been having a great time, despite the winter weather.
Nigel Kuhn, Level 2 angling coach comments: “For most of the pupils this has been their first introduction to the sport, and it’s important that they recognise it as being something that they can do all year round. It’s been a great opportunity for them to try something new and its brilliant that Chancel Primary have been so supportive of the sessions.”

The youngsters will be doing some serious fishing during the half-term and are hopeful of matching Kinsey’s success. Tight lines!
