Staffordshire FA representative, Gareth Thomas: “Grassroots football is at the heart of the national game and every week across the county, people dedicate their time and energy to provide a professional, fun and rewarding football experience for the local community. We are delighted that The FA and McDonald’s have recognised these clubs and individuals with the Community Awards and believe this is a great opportunity for us to celebrate the dedication and commitment shown by clubs, coaches, players and volunteers across the county and so we’d urge people to nominate. Fingers crossed we get some finalists and national winners from Staffordshire!”
