Your say on local football
Players and volunteers are invited to have their say on local football and could win a signed England shirt. Staffordshire FA is seeking feedback from coaches, referees, players over 11 and volunteers on grassroots football through a new online survey.
Staffordshire FA want your views on local football provision, plus key national programmes such as Respect. Respondents will be entered into a competition to win an England shirt signed by Fabio Capello’s squad, one of ten pairs of tickets to the England vs Slovakia World Cup qualifier in March or UMBRO vouchers.
FA National Game Manager Kelly Simmons commented: “Our football workforce helped shape the recent FA National Game Strategy which resulted in a four-year investment worth £200m across the country from The Football Association.
“We are keen to support all of football, but have some challenging targets around developing men’s 11-a-side football, recruiting more referees and encouraging positive behaviour through the Respect programme. It’s critical that we listen to players and volunteers involved in the game to make sure we’re getting it right.”
The survey can be accessed from the link. The deadline for response is Saturday 7 February 2009.
