Disability Golf Coaching
Disabled children in and around the Stafford area will have the opportunity to take part in fun golf coaching sessions during February Half-Term.
The sessions are aimed at 8 to 16 year olds and will cater for children with a range of impairments from learning difficulties to wheelchair users.
Participants will learn the basics of the game with a 30 minute one to one coaching slot over a 3 day period. Players will have a go at a variety of fun drills and games, all led by fully qualified coaches. The course is being held at Graham Balfour High School from Monday 21st until Wednesday 23rd February between 10am and 1pm. Participants are asked to sign up for a half-hour slot on each of the three days and siblings are also able to join in at the same time
slot if they wish to do so. The cost is £10 per child and an application form and payment should be submitted for each child.
The Sports Development Team at Stafford Borough Council are working in partnership with local organisation ‘The Golf Academy’ to run the sessions.
