Free Sports Leader training for organisations in the West Midlands
Sport Structures Coaches CIC Progress Programme
Throughout January – 31st March 2011 Sport Structures coach team will be delivering the Sports Leaders UK Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership.
This qualification provides individuals with the skills and tools to volunteer effectively and safely lead sports activities.
The criteria for participants:
16 + years old
Currently volunteering (Are a member of staff or volunteer from a voluntary or community organisation working in England. This definition of voluntary and community sector includes social enterprises, mutuals and co-operatives and other not-for-profit organisations. It excludes state-led/governmental organisations)
Are working with young people aged 13 – 19years or up to 25 years with a disability, within scope of the project
This is a fantastic opportunity for community organisations, youth groups, voluntary organisations, sports club etc to up skill their volunteering workforce with an experienced and award winning Volunteer and coach Education Company.
This is an excellent opportunity for organisations and sports clubs to get free Sports Leader Level 2 training. The course is excellent and a fantastic base for those looking to lead sessions, often more useful in games development and group management than National Governing Body Level one courses.
