Jo, Stafford Borough Council’s Community Sports Netball Coach has been awarded the West Midlands Community Sports Coach of the Year for her hard work.
During the two years she has been in the part-time role Jo has worked closely with the School Sports Partnership to coach more than 800 young people.
She has also organised a ‘High Fives’ tournament for local primary schools in the area, as well as established a new Netball club.
