Trips For Kids (Special Needs)

 
 

Trips for Kids offers young people with special needs the opportunity to take part in a range of sports, arts and leisure based activities.

  External funding is used to help support the programme i.e. Children’s Fund, Community Learning Partnership and local sponsorship.


The aim is to enhance social skills and personal development, increase confidence and raise levels of self-esteem, whilst making all the activities fun and enjoyable.


Our Community Recreation Officer, Debbie Pearce, works closely with parents from Sherbrook Special School to help deliver the programme.
