Introducing the new Staffordshire Netball Development Officer

 

 

 

Emma Warren is the new Staffordshire Netball Development Officer replacing Carly Beach who has gone on to become Regional Manager in the West Midlands for England Netball. 

 

 

Her background is firmly in netball as a player and coach, having achieved national club level and representing her former University, Nottingham Trent at the BUSA championship shield final in 2008. She studied Sport Science with I.T at the Nottingham Trent University where she took a keen interest in the development of netball and was nominated as captain in her final year.

 

 Emma Warren

In her new role, her overall aim is to get more people in Staffordshire and the Black Country playing netball. To achieve this aim she will work with young people and schools, be involved with club development by increasing the number of clubs accredited and to create strong links between schools and clubs.

 

Other roles include increasing the number of officials and coaches as well as maintaining and co-ordinating leagues within Staffordshire and the Black Country in order to maintain a standard for youngsters to participate in.
