The Sport England Small Grants Programme

 

The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

 

For example, they might help a sports club expand its age range by helping it to buy extra team kit or pay additional coaching fees. Or they may help youth clubs work together with local sports clubs to get more young people playing sport....

Pupils skipping record attempt is unofficially smashed!!

 

Approximately 37,000 pupils from 264 schools across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent joined pupils in Lincolnshire to successfully skip their way into contention for a place in the World Record Books by smashing the existing world record set earlier this year at 19,000. The official confirmation will hopefully follow after the evidence has been submitted....

The Promoting Positive Activities website, www.YouFind.me.uk has been created by Staffordshire Youth Service in partnership with young people's representatives to provide an online activity search for the young people of Staffordshire. The website will act as a one stop shop where young people will be able to find out what is happening in their locality.....
