The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are fast approaching the end of their Bridging the Gap funding programme - it is important that sports groups do not miss out on this opportunity to apply for grant funding.
Sports groups can apply for up to £5,000 towards activities, which might include new equipment, improvements to their facilities, holding an event or putting on training courses.

Projects should be based in an eligible coalfield community or be able to show clear and immediate benefits for an eligible coalfield community.
Projects and Activities Supported
The Bridging the Gap programme is great for groups who could do with some equipment, wish to make improvements to their facilities, wish to carry out activities, or aim to hold an event.
Examples of the types of projects and activities that the Bridging the Gap Programme could support include:

Projects are expected to achieve one or more of the following core outputs:
Deadlines for the submission of applications
Projects for the November Committee – end of August / early September
Projects for the December Committee – end of September / early October
