Easy Cricket – The New Way For Adult Participation What is Easy Cricket?
Easy Cricket is more of a concept than a game. As per its title, Easy Cricket is just that – easy!
To encourage new people to play cricket and lapsed players to pick up a bat again, the concept is to get people playing within an environment that is familiar and convenient to them.
It might be during a lunch break at work or after work. It could be in between lectures at University, or in the park with friends on a weekend, or for parents who are watching their kids play or train at a cricket club?
Reginald Mitchell Wins Regional Prize
Reginald Mitchell Primary from Kidsgrove won the Regional Finals of the ASDA Girls Kwik Cricket Competition.
The school went through to the national finals held on Tuesday 19th July at Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
Reginald Mitchell beat teams from Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Warwickshire to secure their place in the national finals.
Prior to the Regional competition the girls took part in the Staffordshire final (all entrants pictured above) and won all 5 games at Moddershall.
By participating in this event over the weekend of 26th -29th August Staffordshire cricket clubs have the potential to raise significant amounts of funding that they can then reinvest into their club ideally as part of NWCF 2012.
There are some great prizes already on offer and we will shortly produce flyers and a quiz for clubs to use.

We are now taking bookings for One to One coaching during the summer holidays, with sessions held at multiple venues across the county with a number of our county representative coaches.
One to One Coaching is a great way to get some additional coaching that is aimed around the players own targeted improvement areas, and all our coaches aim to make the sessions enjoyable as well as developing the player in all aspects of cricket. It is a fantastic way to gain confidence as well as improving specific cricket skills.
The 4 session programme consists of 4 x 1hr One to One sessions, the cost of the programme is £110. Please get in touch if you wish to book a place on our one to one programme. We have coaches available throughout the county and sessions are organised at a suitable time and venue between the coach and player.
If you require more information regarding this coaching opportunity then please feel free to contact me via email or my mobile number below.
