Are you inspired by London 2012?
Non-commercial organisations, including those from the voluntary sector and local authorities, who are developing projects or events in sport, culture, education, environment, volunteering and business skills inspired by the London 2012 Games can apply to use the Inspire mark, part of the much-loved London 2012 brand family.
This is the first time any organising committee for an Olympic and Paralympic Games has developed a brand for use by anyone other than commercial sponsors. Therefore, only high quality, high impact projects and events will be successful in accessing the prestigious Inspire mark. They must also help to deliver key national legacy objectives, such as participation in sport, inspiring young people, sustainability and demonstrating
that the UK is a creative, inclusive and welcoming place to live in, visit and for business.
If you are developing ideas for an outstanding project or event in Staffordshire or Stoke-on-Trent inspired by the London 2012 Games, please contact Chris Kirkland, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Co-ordinator for the 2012 Games on chris.kirkland@staffordshire.gov.uk or 01785 854595.
