World and Paralympic Dressage Champion seeks sponsorship help

Lee Pearson MBE. OBE.

Lee is a current World and Paralympic Dressage Champion with a host of awards and accolades including some of which are listed below.

We are currently looking for sponsorship to cover the cost of a groom which would allow Lee to continue in his sport and give him the opportunity to win medals and world titles.

Lee's disability means he needs assistance with tasks perhaps you and I take for granted. Lee is unable to get on a horse without the assistance of a groom. Once on the horse he has proven that he can go on to win able bodied titles amongst other accolades including "Britain's Golden Boy" (Horse and Hound 2004).

Lee does not have the finance to match his extraordinary talent.

He needs to raise £15,000 (£15k) per year through sponsorship to allow him to continue.

In return he can :

offer product endorsement
take part in promotional marketing campaigns
the power of sponsorship can be used to energise and motivate staff
there may be likelihood of sponsorship awareness being turned into customer action

Achievements:

Lee is the only disabled person to win an able bodied national title
Lee was awarded an MBE in 2001 and an OBE in 2005 in recognition of his monumental equestrian success and services to sport for the disabled
Lee has become the first ever disabled athlete to Chair an International Committee of able bodied athletes. (the FEI based in Lausanne, Switzerland whose President is HRH The Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein)
He has represented all athletes whilst working on London 2012 Culture and Creativity Forum.
British Airways have used him in their corporate media work leading up to announcement of their role in 2012.
The BBC are using him in their Olympic Dreams Programme.
In 2005 Lee was bestowed an honorary doctorate from Staffordshire University.
Lee was voted BBC Midlands Sports Personality of the year 2004 as well as BBC Midlands Disabled Sport Personality 2003 and 2004.

This is just a snapshot of his achievements which can be summed up by HRH The Princess Royal who said publicly that given the right level of sponsorship and horse she thinks Lee could represent Great Britain at the Olympics.
