Cash 4 Clubs - Sports Grants Scheme
CASH4CLUBS,a scheme that gives money to grassroots sport, has announced it is to award significant grants to community sports clubs for a second consecutive year and has extended the scheme nationwide.
Clubs and associations from across the UK are invited to apply for the free funding, with the first window for applications now open.
Any sports club that is registered with its sports' National Governing body or local authority can apply. They do not restrict entries to certain sports or certain activities. You might be looking for funding to help with coaching of young kids or you may be after a grant to help buy a new boat or help renovate your current facilities.
The Cash 4 Clubs scheme has given out sports grants to many deserving causes and is committed to finding yet more sports clubs to help in the future. With awards of £250, £500 and £1,000 available, Cash 4 Clubs is giving away real money that can help your club.
To give you some ideas, here is a list of what some of the past winners have been awarded money for:
Rugbykit
Training for Coaches to ensure they are all level 1 standard
Junior paddles and safety equipment
An underwater camera for monitoring swimmers' technique
Equipment for a golf club team
Racing wheelchair and other athletics equipment
New rugby kit, tackle bags, balls and corner flags
Kit for a junior netball team
Floor mats and low balance beams
First aid training for coaches and new first aid equipment

As you can see Cash 4 Clubs has a very open policy with regards to what our sports grants can be used for. They will consider a wide variety of funding requests from all clubs whether they are mainstream or minority sports.
As long as you can show that you are serious about making your club a better place for your members then you are eligible to apply for funding.
The initiative, funded by Betfair, theUK's largest online betting company, and in partnership with SportsAid, seeks to provide much-needed money for clubs involved in any sport.
