Sporting Champions inspires young people by giving them the chance to meet their sporting heroes face-to-face and gives us the opportunity to bring world-class athletes into our local community.

Staffordshire FA and Stoke City FC held their annual Disability Awareness Day on Saturday 8th March 2008 at the Britannia Stadium. 
 

The event is held every year to highlight and promote Disability Football throughout the county.

Stoke City High 5 Netball Tournament 2007/08

On Monday 18th February 2008 the Stoke City High 5 Netball Tournament was held at Fenton Manor. Twelve teams in total competed, comprising of six teams from North Stoke and six teams from South Stoke. All twelve teams had qualified to play by finishing in the top 6 positions in their respective Stoke North and Stoke South Partnership Tournaments....

HAREGATE residents are being given the chance to step up their health and fitness by joining a new weekly walk.


Moderately paced half-hour routes taking in fresh air and scenic countryside were launched at 2pm on Wednesday, 27 March from Haregate Community Centre, and will continue free of charge every week...
