County Sports Partnership Update |
Community Investment Fund UpdateWe have received a tremendous response to the Community Investment Fund Port Folio. By the deadline date some 31 applications had been received. A big thank you to all partners for the tremendous effort you have put into formulating the bids in the tight timescale. One of the Partnerships targets for this year was to work with partners to develop a wide range of innovative projects that will significantly impact on increasing participation and widening access, the CIF portfolio approach has certainly had a real impact on allowing us to develop this theme. I would also like to thank Wendy Anderson our Active Recreation Manager who has worked tirelessly to ensure that the process has run as smoothly as possible. I hope partners feel that they have been well supported by the SASSOT team during the process, I am happy to receive comments in order that we can review and where necessary improve our service.
Just a reminder on the next stage of the process :
Applicants will be informed of the RSB's decision as soon as possible after the 29th. Once again thank you for the tremendous effort and we look forward to delivering a successful portfolio of projects with partners. For more information please contact:

Year 6 SurveyIn partnership with Staffordshire Sports Development Officers and Partnership Development Managers, Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent have initiated a Year 6 Survey. This is an annual piece of research that monitors Year 6 pupil participation in community based sport. The research will also identify club membership as well as future activities / sports of interest.
The survey is being implemented during the same timescales of the PESCL survey and results will be collated and analysed during the months of July and August by Staffordshire University. Individual reports will be produced for each of the 9 authorities and a collective Staffordshire report will also be made available
