Potential Funding Opportunity - Kellogg's Active Living Fund
The fund will give small grants to fund projects and activities that directly lead to people taking part in sustained physical activity. The aim of the fund is to help remove the “barriers” which stop people being active.
Kellogg’s Active Living Fund is very keen to fund activities that enable adults and children to exercise together.

Rugeley Rugby Club End of Season Update 2008
Rugeley Rugby Club is one of the oldest sporting clubs in Rugeley and in the Cannock Chase area and is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
"Lets Go Outside" on Wednesday 11th June 08
This event focuses on making use of green spaces such as parks, sports fields and canal towpaths to increase levels of physical activity across the region. Green activities include walking, cycling and conservation activities and extends to any activity that takes place in the natural environment.
This event will be of interest to professionals and volunteers working in education, health, leisure and active recreation who have a role to play in planning and delivering physical activity in the outdoors.

The online surveys, which specifically focus on Secondary Schools Tennis, can be accessed as follows: Secondary Schools Tennis Survey – STAFF Secondary Schools Tennis Survey – PUPIL It would be much appreciated if you could take a few minutes to complete the survey yourself and also forward on to and encourage colleagues (Your Competition Managers, PDMs, Directors of Specialisms, SSCOs, Heads of PE and PE Teachers etc) to complete also. You will note that in addition to the survey for staff to complete, there is also a version for pupils.
The surveys run until Friday 25th July 2008, however, all respondents who complete the Staff Survey before 5pm on Wednesday 18th June will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 3 Prize Packages, as follows: 1. 10 Wimbledon Ground Passes for Thursday 3rd July 2008, for 8 pupils and 2 members of staff. 2.
