Under Twenties Bus Travel Discount with the ‘Your Staffordshire Card’
Young people aged 11-19 years and live anywhere in Staffordshire* could save £’s on bus travel every year by applying for a free ‘Your Staffordshire Card’.
The card, launched by Staffordshire County Council can be used from 1st June and will mean that young people can travel any journey which either starts or ends in Staffordshire for just £1.** That's a really cheap bus trip for young people to see their mates, get to school or college or just to get out and go places. It’s valid at weekends and during the holidays too, offering more freedom, opportunities and flexibility.
Adam Clarke, a 17 year old school student from Burton will save over £500 a year by using the card. Adam says “This is a great opportunity for young people; it's free and easy to apply for. The card will increase the number of activities we can access without the travel costing more than the actual activity itself. The best thing is the extra money we will have in our pockets, don’t think about it just apply now!”
For more information about the ‘Your Staffordshire Card’ including how to apply visit the website
* The card is valid for journeys starting or ending within Staffordshire County Council's boundary. Sorry, but the offer does not apply to people who live, or travel within, Stoke-on-Trent. ** terms and condition apply, see web for details or call 0300 111 800
