Staffordshire FA - Coach Education, Inclusion & Equity
Staffordshire FA run a wide variety of courses throughout the season made easily accessible across the whole of the county.
These include the following:
Level 1 and Level 2 Award in Coaching Football
Level 1 – Is a basic introduction into coaching, enabling candidates to develop a safe, ethical and effective coaching style. This course is the first step on the coaching pathway.
Level 2 – Is a practical and theory course which covers skills to technique to game related practices.
Age Appropriate – Introductory Module
This course will improve your knowledge of the “what” and “how” to coach young players. The course is a good stepping stone for the youth award course and is also a good CPD opportunity for Level 1 and 2 coaches.
Youth Award’s Module 1 and 2
The youth award structure focuses on developing young players of different ages, abilities etc by looking at where the child is (Physically, psychologically, technically and socially) to create a child centred coaching approach.
Level 1 and Level 2 Goalkeeping Coaching Award
These courses provide you with knowledge and ability to organise and develop key aspects related to goalkeeping techniques and skills.
Coaching Disabled Footballers Course
The course includes giving coaches ideas and practices as well establishing communication skills for the inclusion of disabled players in football.
